(see attachment) Flannery O’Connor’s “A Good Man Is Hard to Find” is violent and disturbing. True to the story’s title, the characters in it are either unmemorable or unlikeable. But it’s also got a surprising twist that is consistent with O’Connor’s Christian faith. In this story, O’Connor uses suspense and surprise to teach us something about forgiveness and grace. No matter who we are or what we have done, we all long for forgiveness and grace.
